David W. Small Designs is an award winning custom home design firm based in Mississauga with the experience of over 600 built projects.  We specialize in doing one thing better than anyone else – designing the perfect home for each of our clients.

David launched the firm on his own in 1996.  It has grown continuously and is now a collaborative team of 8 individuals who share a deep respect for each other and an unwavering commitment to providing exceptional service to each and every David W. Small Designs customer.

Our job is to design your dream home.  To work closely with you to determine your needs and those of your family and to turn those into a home that is not only your beautiful sanctuary but a functional, practical masterpiece.  We truly believe that a well-designed building is a work of art.  This is reflected in David’s exemplary use of timeless architectural qualities: proportion, scale, texture, colour and light.

Although we have won design awards for both commercial and multi-family projects, our passion lies in creating incredible family homes.  Today, distinct single family homes comprise about half of our projects.  The remainder include both custom renovations and family vacation homes.
